St Peter’s Presbyterian Church is a warm and friendly congregation in Yarram, in the heart of South Gippsland. Whether you are a long-time churchgoer, a curious newcomer, or simply looking for a welcoming community, there is a place for you here.
We gather each Sunday at 2:00 pm to worship together, hear God’s Word preached, and encourage one another. After the service, we invite everyone to join us for afternoon tea — a relaxed time to meet people and feel at home.
We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Australia, holding to the historic Westminster Confession of Faith and the authority of the Scriptures in all matters of faith and life.

Our faith & convictions
St Peter’s is part of the Presbyterian Church of Australia and holds to the Westminster Confession of Faith (1646) as our subordinate standard, under the supreme authority of Holy Scripture.
The authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the supreme rule for faith and life in all matters.
The Holy Trinity
We confess one God eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and co-glorious.
Salvation by grace alone
Salvation is by God’s grace alone, received through faith alone, on account of Christ alone — not by any works or merit of our own.
The Lord Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, who died for sinners, rose bodily from the grave, and reigns as Lord over all creation.
The church
The church is called to gather for worship, be built up through the Word, observe the sacraments, and proclaim the gospel to the world.
Reformed heritage
We stand in the great stream of the Protestant Reformation, holding to the Westminster Standards as a faithful summary of biblical teaching.
